The PostEurop Board of Directors (BoD) at its 139th meeting on 11 June 2025 approved the following changes to the Security & Customs Transversal (SCT) and to the Best Practice Sharing Committee (BPSC).
Security & Customs Transversal
Newly appointed Board of Directors Member, Ian Wilkinson (Royal Mail Group) has been appointed Chair of the Security & Customs Transversal (SCT).
Stamps & Philately Working Group
The Stamps and Philately Working Group actively promotes stamps and philately, with a special emphasis on EUROPA stamps. It is responsible for selecting the themes of the upcoming EUROPA stamp issues and monitoring developments that may impact European philately and EUROPA stamps.
Sitara Huseynova (Azerpost LLC) has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Stamps & Philately Working Group.
Sitara brings a wealth of experience in philately, having served as Director of the Stamps Department at Azerpost LLC since 2021. Her previous roles include Deputy Director and Director of the Marketing and Sales Department at Azermarka LLC, the official issuer of Azerbaijan’s postage stamps. She is also an active member of the Emissions Commission under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. With a strong background in both public and private sectors, her leadership and expertise will be a valuable asset to the Working Group.
