Liechtenstein Post is fulfilling its sustainability promise and achieved climate neutrality by the end of 2025.

Liechtenstein Post has been working consistently to reduce its CO₂ emissions since 2020 and has been able to cut them by around 70 percent in recent years – an outstanding achievement for a logistics company.

As a responsible company, Liechtenstein Post is actively committed to the environment and society. Resource-saving practices, the use of environmentally friendly vehicles, energy-efficient technologies, and circular economy projects shape its daily activities. The measures are in line with the climate targets of the country of Liechtenstein and under-line the Liechtenstein Post’s commitment to actively shaping a sustainable future.

Since 2020, Liechtensteinische Post has been producing a comprehensive annual climate balance sheet. CO₂ emis-sions that cannot yet be avoided – such as those from employees’ commutes or external logistics services – will be offset in cooperation with ClimatePartner from 2025 onwards.

At the same time, Liechtensteinische Post is working with other companies on a forward-looking regional compensation project. The aim is to offset unavoidable emissions in future with the involvement of regional farmers, thereby strengthening regional value creation and gaining control over CO₂ offsetting. This is being done under the slogan “Together for fertile soils.”

Liechtenstein Post will continue to pursue its sustainability strategy consistently beyond 2025. Through the active involvement of employees and suppliers, the expansion of its own photovoltaic areas and additional projects in the areas of biodiversity and environmental protection, CO₂ emissions are to be further reduced – with the long-term goal of only having to offset a minimal residual amount.

Step by step, Liechtenstein Post is moving towards even greater sustainability. True to the motto: yellow at heart, green in thought.

On its new website, nachhaltig.post.li Liechtenstein Post provides transparent and up-to-date information about its goals and steps towards climate neutrality.
