1- What is ICS2?
ICS2 is an EU customs system to process advance cargo information for risk analysis purposes.
2- Which postal shipments are affected by ICS2?
With the exception of items for correspondence every postal shipment has to be processed in ICS2.
3- When is the start of ICS2?
ICS2 will start on 15 March 2021.
4. What is the risk for a postal operator if not ready?
Shipments will be delayed for a transitional period. After that period shipments without ICS2 data are no longer allowed.
