The PostEurop Board of Directors (BoD), at its 143rd meeting on 10 June 2026, approved the following changes within the UPU & Restricted Unions Affairs (UAC) and Best Practice Sharing Committee (BPSC), specifically to the Performance & Operations Working Group and the Green Postal Forum.

UPU & Restricted Unions Affairs (UAC)

The PostEurop Board of Directors Member Nicolaas Van der Meer (PostNL) has been confirmed has the new UAC Vice-Chair, replacing the former BoD Member, Dariusz Prosiecki (Poczta Polska). Nicolaas is working  closely with Chair Aimé Theubet (Swiss Post). In this role, he will support Aimé in guiding the Committee’s efforts to shape the international regulatory environment in favour of the European context.

 Performance & Operations – Vice-Chair Appointment

 Andrea Sapienza (Poste Italiane) has been appointed Vice‑Chair of the Performance & Operations Working Group (PerfOps WG), replacing his Poste Italiane colleague Anna Lanfranco.

Andrea is an experienced international quality and operations specialist, with strong expertise in service performance monitoring, operational excellence, and process improvement across international postal networks. He actively represents Poste Italiane in international working groups and contributes to initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.

Currently he is serving as International Quality Service Specialist at Poste Italiane, where he plays a key role in monitoring and improving international service performance and supporting strategic initiatives within the international postal framework.

 Green Postal Forum – Vice-Chair Appointment

Branka Leskovšek (Pošta Slovenije) has been appointed Vice‑Chair of the Green Postal Forum (GPF), replacing her colleague Anita Žibrat.

Branka brings extensive experience in sustainability, logistics, and environmental strategy, with a strong focus on carbon footprint measurement, ESG reporting, and green mobility initiatives. She has been actively involved in national and international projects promoting sustainable practices in the postal sector.

She is currently responsible for coordinating carbon accounting and sustainability reporting activities at Pošta Slovenije, and contributes to advancing environmental performance and climate‑related initiatives within the organisation.
