Poczta Polska is steadily strengthening its expertise in cash logistics. The company has launched an investment programme aimed at expanding its fleet of cash‑in‑transit vehicles by a total of 375 by the end of 2027. The first step is the purchase of 45 modern Type B cash‑in‑transit vehicles.

“Investing in a modern fleet of cash vans is the foundation of safe and efficient cash logistics. We are not only increasing our operational capabilities, but above all delivering solutions that the market and our institutional clients expect. It also represents a genuine improvement in the standards and safety of our convoy teams,” says Sławomir Żurawski, Acting CEO of Poczta Polska.

The new vehicles form part of a long‑term strategy for the development of logistics services and reflect the continuing importance of cash in economic transactions. The investment is operational in nature and is designed to increase the efficiency and security of the services provided. The Type B cash vans currently being added to the fleet offer a high level of security and increased cargo capacity. This enables the transport of more ATM cassettes in a single journey, resulting in fewer trips, improved route planning, and greater efficiency for convoy teams.

The investment programme also includes the purchase of Type A and Type C armoured vehicles, each offering different levels of protection and intended for specific uses. Type A vehicles, which provide the highest level of security, will be used for transporting high‑value items. Type C armoured vehicles are lighter units, adapted for transporting cash in specialised containers equipped with security systems, and are suitable for both short and long routes. According to the schedule, Poczta Polska plans to receive a further 35 Type B armoured vehicles by the end of 2026, followed by 125 more in tranches by the end of 2027. In parallel, procurement procedures for Type A and Type C armoured vehicles are under way. The company expects contracts for their delivery to be signed in the coming months, with the first Type C vehicles entering the fleet in 2026.

The investment not only increases operational capacity but also improves working conditions for convoy crews. The new vehicles offer more workspace, better ergonomics, and modern safety features.

The implementation of the fleet modernisation programme is intended to strengthen Poczta Polska’s position as one of the key operators in the cash logistics segment and ensure stable, scalable services for institutional clients in the years ahead.
