“Croatian Post is no longer the company it was ten years ago. We work faster, better, and more productively. This year, in our new sorting center in Velika Gorica, we commissioned a high-bay warehouse automation system — the first of its kind in Croatia — offering customers a fully automated order picking solution. With it, we’ve expanded the range of logistics services we provide to partners and business clients.
Parcel logistics is reshaping the entire supply chain, making distribution centers and warehouses a critical link in improving service quality. Efficiency and proximity to the end customer have become essential to customer satisfaction.
That’s why we’ve launched the construction of a new high-bay warehouse spanning 20,000 square meters with 40,000 pallet spaces. Aware of the immense growth potential, we’re spinning off our logistics operations into a new subsidiary, Post Logistik, to fully unlock the potential of palletized delivery.” — Ivan Čulo, CEO, Croatian Post
With strong business growth, the Croatian Post remains committed to its employees. On that note, during 2023 and 2024, salaries grew by a total of 25% and, among other things, 1200 EUR loyalty bonuses were introduced for workers in industry-deficient jobs, thus fostering worker stability and motivation.
To further boost competitiveness, a new subsidiary was established – PostLogistik d.o.o., which will provide specialized logistics services. Croatian Post continues to invest strongly in the digitalization of all business segments. The establishment of a single administrative unit (JUM) will enable citizens of the Republic of Croatia to access digital services via a user box, while the implementation of an automated storage system (SAKS) will improve operational efficiency and enable the development of warehouse logistics services.
As of 2024, the Sustainability Report has been an integral part of the Annual Business Operations Report. By adopting the Sustainability Management Strategy, Croatian Post has defined priority areas for sustainable action and set ambitious and measurable goals, which ensure consistent implementation of sustainability policies at all operational levels. Croatian Post’s first Sustainability Report transparently presents the efforts and activities undertaken, the results achieved and the next steps in creating a sustainable and innovative business environment.
