The General Assembly, which took place on 18 October, takes on the statutory issues pertinent to the Association’s governance.
Over 150 delegates from the PostEurop membership, observers and stakeholders participated in the General Assembly in Bratislava, marking the highest attendance for the Association. On this occasion, Mrs. Elena Fernández-Rodríguez, Chairwoman of the PostEurop Board of Directors and Botond Szebeny, Secretary General, opened the General Assembly (GA). The extensive agenda during the General Assembly helps further shape the future activities of the Association. Some of the important decisions taken included:
- Members’ approval of the reconduction of the suspension JSC Russian Post and RUE Belpochta for another year, until the 2024 GA.
- Members’ approval of the organisation and strategy review to highlight the importance of Sustainability (ESG Transversal to be created) and the way forward.
