During the first quarter of the year leading up to 30 June 2019, Royal Mail delivered 93.2 per cent of First Class mail the next working day against a target of 93.0 per cent. The Company delivered 98.9 per cent of Second Class mail within three working days against a regulatory target of 98.5 per cent.
Royal Mail is the only UK mail delivery company required to publish Quality of Service performance against delivery targets every quarter. It has one of the highest Quality of Service specifications of any major European country.
