To enable customers to receive their pending parcels after their holidays, La Poste will exceptionally keep them for 30 days in the post office instead of the usual 15 days. All Colissimo parcels that could not be delivered to their addressees between 13th July and 25th August will thus be affected by this extended period. For example, a parcel brought on 25th August will be kept in the post office until 22nd September.
This measure aims to allow customers to serenely buy online, during the summer sales for example, regardless of the delivery date during their leave. It also aims to help e-shops to undergo fewer returns related to the absence of recipients during this period.
