The index calculated by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) shows that by international standards Swiss Post is amongst the leading postal organizations thanks to its strategy and comprehensive range of services. To maintain its strong position, Swiss Post is constantly expanding its range of services to make its customers’ everyday lives easier.
The study compares a total of 170 postal organizations around the world using four criteria: reliability, relevance, reach and resilience. Swiss Post achieved the highest points in three of the four categories, confirming its status as a trustworthy and modern partner with broad expertise.
Swiss Post is continually improving its existing services and developing new products and services for the customers of tomorrow. More and more of them are digital. They are available to private and business customers around the clock – including on mobile devices if required. Swiss Post focuses on seven business development areas: e-commerce, mobility, digital financial services, digital trust, cross-channel communication, business process outsourcing, and sales and solutions.
E-post combines the advantages of physical and digital mail, for example. Customers can choose between a range of different access points. Swiss Post’s e-health platform connects healthcare professionals and ensures the secure exchange of electronic patient data. At the same time, innovations such as delivery robots and drones are revolutionizing the logistics sector. Demand for secure electronic communication is also growing. Users of the newly launched SuisseID will only need one login in future to access personal data on different applications.
Thanks to these products and services Swiss Post is one of the world’s most innovative postal companies, and will continue to play a pioneering role in the hybrid and digital worlds in the future.
