In total this year has been sold almost 150 diverse objects appropriate for commerce, offices and for the purpose of residence for more than 2 million euros. “Lithuania Post, reacting to changes of customer habits and provided services, is changing as well. We hope that at the current recovery of the real estate market, there will appear business entities or private individuals that will acquire suggested objects and adjust them for an alternative use” - Director of Legal and Administrative Affairs Division in Lithuania Post Gytis Kundrotas said.

In December, it is planned to organize one more, and the last one this year, real estate auction, wherein over 40 different objects throughout the country will be sold.
During the previous auctions it was possible to acquire premises of different sizes and purposes throughout Lithuania: from dormitories in the biggest Lithuanian cities to former premises of central post offices, former rest homes and a part of a residential building in diverse villages and small towns in Lithuania. The total area of sold objects is more than 12 thousand square meters. In a part of properties for sale Lithuania Post plans to remain as a tenant, keeping the optimal size of the premises.

Lithuania Post is being advised on the real estate sales issues by the “Resolution advisers LT” company, in the market known with the trademark “Newsec”, that is also organizing the auction.
