Omniva reached the finals of the competition “Logistics Deed of the Year”

Omniva’s service that enables the customer to order the shipments of AliExpress web shop to the parcel machine, reached among the finalists of the competition “Logistics Deed of the Year”.

A total of 19 projects were received under the competition “Logistics Deed of the Year”, which takes place already for the 14th time. The jury selected 10 finalists among those 19 projects. One of them turned out to be Omniva’s service, which enables to order the shipments of China’s popular AliExpress web shop to the parcel machine instead of post office.

The service that was launched in September has collected more than 1,000 users over the first month and approximately half a thousand shipments have already reached the parcel machine in a convenient manner. Customer feedback on the service has been predominantly positive – people have mentioned delivery speed and convenience as advantages in terms of ordering the shipment to the parcel machine. In the near future, it is possible to order goods to Omniva’s parcel machines also from other foreign e-shops.

Furthermore, the general public can also participate in the selection of the best project among the finalists of the competition “Logistics Deed of the Year”. In order to vote, please send an e-mail with the name of your favourite finalist to tanel@logistikauudised.ee by 11 November, at the latest. To help us to identify the voter, please add your name and company, as well. It is possible to vote just once and in favour of one logistics deed. Votes that are given to own logistics deed do not count.

The aim of the competition is to recognise the success that has been achieved by dedicated logistics managers in reaching the goals specified for the organisation. The presentation of the three winning projects and the awarding ceremony will take place at the Annual Logistics Conference on 18 November.
