Swiss singer-songwriter Bastian Baker, the face and voice of the campaign, will show just how location- and time-independent Swiss Post services really are. Together with his band, he will play seven public concerts in October and November 2015 across Switzerland and will be accompanied throughout by Swiss Post’s services. The tour kicks off on 9 October with a concert in Hasliberg (BE). Concert tickets are now on sale and can be won at TheYellowTour.ch. The website features plenty of information, pictures and videos focusing on the tour and the accompanying Swiss Post services.
From postal agencies and PickPost points to My Post 24 parcel terminals, Swiss Post now offers numerous new access points to meet changing customer needs. Any time, anywhere and around the clock. With its new campaign, Swiss Post now brings to life the advantages of the new services at the interface between the digital and physical worlds: the well-known singer-songwriter Bastian Baker will perform seven public concerts supported by a range of Swiss Post services.
For example, anyone who sends in a selfie during the tour using the PostCard Creator App will receive a printed postcard from Swiss Post signed by Bastian Baker himself. What's more, tickets will be sold at post offices and online via the PostShop while PostLogistics will transport the entire stage around Switzerland. Bastian Baker will travel to each concert by Postbus while using the free Postbus WiFi to chat to his fans during the journey. And Swiss Post naturally provides all its traditional letter and parcel services, such as delivering all the singer’s fan mail to him.
A “phygital” campaign
THE YELLOW TOUR kicks off a Swiss Post communication campaign set to run for several years, bringing the company’s access points and services closer to its private customers. It starts today and includes a range of TV adverts, print ads, online displays, fairs, events and a dedicated website. The commercial featuring Bastian Baker as a Swiss Post ambassador will be shown for the first time on TV at 6.10 p.m. this evening on SRF 1. TheYellowTour.ch website available in three languages is the cornerstone of the campaign.
