In addition to electric vehicles operating on the islands in Istanbul, Turkish Post PTT introduced its new customized electrical vehicles in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. These new vehicles are 100% electric, and provide zero-carbon emissions, they consume up to seven times less energy than the traditional vehicles, hence reducing energy cost. On a technical note, they can reach up to 55 km/hrs. and travel up to 220 kilometers. These vehicles can be charged within 4 to 9 hours.
Upon starting a new era in e-commerce parcel deliveries, Turkish Post PTT is also aiming at growing its electric vehicle’s fleet throughout the country. Moreover, 40% of its fleet will be composed of electric vehicles by 2030.
