It is estimated that the eco-friendly electric vehicles will facilitate postal deliveries in the Princes’ Islands of İstanbul, a rich, natural and historical sight which is closed to motor vehicle traffic. Since the beginning of 2021, a total of 4 islands from the İstanbul province, have started to benefit from these new delivery vehicles.

Turkish Post PTT is one of the first companies in Turkey who has started to use eco-friendly vehicles for its deliveries, following close on its corporate strategy, which aims to reduce carbon emissions, improve deliveries and protect its citizens by helping to improve air quality. This new innovative fleet is composed by three-wheeled electric vehicles and electric bicycles.

Thanks to the new practice, citizens' postal items and parcels will be delivered to their homes faster, and by a nostalgic looking vehicle.
