With 5,000 machines in operation, it now runs a unique nationwide parcel locker network with a total of around 500,000 compartments.

Thomas Geisel, Düsseldorf mayor said: “Especially in times of the Corona pandemic, the Packstation is a very useful device. It supersedes the direct contact between parcel deliverer and recipient and eliminates a possible source of infection. And at the same time, the Packstation is a great alternative to home delivery, especially for working people.”
