This year, the peak period started surprisingly early for bpost. A significant increase in the number of parcels has indeed already been noted since the "Black Friday" and
"Cyber Monday" of November 23 and 26. With the Christmas weekend in view, the number of parcels passing through the bpost network is reaching
unprecedented levels every day. In the days leading up to Christmas, the company expects to process an average of 420,000 parcels a day, or even up to
450,000. This amounts to a 100% growth against a regular business day and a 25% increase over the same period last year.
