In the Employees category, bpost received the “Coup de Coeur” award for their “DUO for a JOB” initiative, a cooperation which matches young job seekers with migrant backgrounds with employees of over 50 years of age. Employees are able to provide supports to the young migrants thanks to their professional skills and experience. Mark Michiels, Chief Human Resources Officer for bpost, is delighted with the award: "Our collaboration with the Duo for a Job program is a real win-win experience for both bpost and young job-seekers. Bulgarian Posts was awarded the "Coup de Coeur” for Society in recognition of their efforts in “Preventing Labor exploitation through a national campaign.” The educative campaign uses the widespread network of post offices enabling rapid distribution of information reinforced by a broad media coverage, including social media. Mr. Biser Pachev, Projects’ Coordination and International Affairs Director, who received the award concluded that “Bulgarian Posts’ extensive network of post offices, our historic role in social cohesion and with the trust of our clients has made us a reliable and indispensable partner for the campaign. Thus the message reached the most vulnerable population groups.” See video
The “Coup de Coeur” for Environment was awarded to Le Groupe La Poste for their initiative “Atmotrack, monitoring environmental quality”. This pioneering initiative established through a partnership with French start-up Atmotrack, helps citizens to be informed on air quality in big French cities thanks to sensors installed on postal vehicles and buildings. Olivier Vallet CEO of La Poste subsidiary Docapost stated that “La Poste is proud to be associated with Atmotrack, a French startup from our open innovation program “French IoT” on the Internet of Things. Air pollution is an environmental urgency. By combining our expanded postal network with a solution based on sensors and environmental quality monitoring, we can act together for a better life in city.” See video
Several external experts with experience in CSR participated to the final jury for the selection of the 2018 Coups de Coeur. As per previous editions, the exchanges among the expert jury members were very intensive given the high quality of different nominated practices. Congratulations to all the winners!
