Jersey Post invests in Hong Kong business

The Jersey Post Group has announced today that it has invested in Hong Kong business, A2B Limited, a leading name in mail and fulfilment solutions in Hong Kong and China.

Based in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong, A2B Limited specialise in postal and fulfilment services for Hong Kong and China based ecommerce traders and mail consolidators to Europe, America and Rest of World. With over 15 year experience in the sector, A2B also offer warehousing, worldwide express courier services, and customs clearance for shipments destined for Greater China and countries worldwide.

The investment in A2B is the latest in Jersey Post’s international strategy to exploit opportunities outside the finite local market. In 2016 Jersey Post purchased a UK based European logistics provider and a customs clearance agent located at Heathrow. In 2017, Jersey Post continued to implement its strategy by investing in Global eParcel Solutions (GePS), based in Miami, and more recently partnering with the Estonian company, Freselle Logistics, to reach the rapidly expanding Baltic markets including Russia.

The investment in A2B provides Jersey Post and its customers with a veritable global solution with key partners located in the US, UK, Europe and now the Far East. Combining this worldwide network with complimentary solutions such as customs clearance, offers customers a seamless, end-to-end solution for the import and export of goods either through the postal network, or through commercial streams.

Tim Brown, Chief Executive at Jersey Post stated, “Our international strategy is to ensure the long-term revenue growth and stability for Jersey Post, through providing a complete global solution for customers based overseas, but also for those based locally who can equally benefit from our extended network and market reach. The investment in A2B provides us with a culturally aligned presence in the Greater China area, and represents an exciting opportunity for both Jersey Post, and its partners to gain even greater access to the lucrative Hong Kong and Chinese markets.”

Owners, Daisy and Gina Luk confirmed, “We’re hugely excited to be working with Jersey Post and their global partners. The collaboration is a significant step forward for A2B as we continue to help ecommerce sellers of all sizes grow, and achieve fast delivery of their products to their overseas customers.”
