Beyond the approval of next year's Business Plan and Budget, as well as the presentation of the Member Survey results, highlights of the Plenary Assembly included the introduction of the CSR "Coups de Coeur" recognising three top case studies in the area of Environment, Employee and Society, and the announcement of the EUROPA competition stamp winners for 2014.
Following the plenary, PostEurop held two half-days of interesting presentations on innovation given today's evolving technologies and community.
Keynote speakers included technology futurist Nick Sohnemann, João Melo from CTT Correios and Chair of the PostEurop Advanced Electronic Solutions Forum, and Roland Keller from Swisspost Innovation Management.
PostEurop also invited five top executives from Small and Medium Postal Operators (Armenia, Jersey, Monaco, Montenegro and San Marino) to present their views on Innovation. This was followed by vibrant discussions.
On Innovative collaborations PostEurop had the pleasure to get to know the Postal Union of the Mediterranean (PUMed), the signing of the UPU - PostEurop - RCC co-operation agreement on eCommerce and other regional development activities, as well as the e-Commerce related initiatives of the UPU Postal Operations Council.
The next PostEurop Plenary Assembly will be held next year in Cyprus on 14 and 15 October hosted by Cyprus Post. So please block those dates on your calendar.
