  3. The Spanish rapper and compositor El Chojin has cooperated in this initiative and has been the voice for the launching of the “Equality Stamps” campaign

Correos launches “Equality Stamps”, a new stamp collection with the aim of raising awareness of racial inequality and of defending diversity, inclusion and equal rights, within the European Diversity Month and coinciding with the death of George Floyd.

“Equality Stamps”, a continuation of the “Protest Stamps” project, consists of a set of stamps with a different value according to the colour of the skin represented:

Darker is the piece of stamp, less value it has and, therefore, more dark stamps than light ones would be necessary to stick on the envelope in order to send an item. Thus, each letter and each item will become a reflection of inequality provoked by racism.

“Equality Stamps” can be purchased at Correos Online Shop (https://tienda.correos.es/).

An action with a proper voice and name

Domingo-Antonio Edjang-Moreno, a Spanish rapper and compositor known as “El Chojin” is participating in this initiatve and gives voice to the campaign to make awareness that the value of a person should not have any colour. El Chojin is a reference for racial activism in Spain and has joined this Correos commitment.

The “Equality Stamps” collection works in cooperation with the Spanish NGO “SOS Racismo” and will be the speaker to a generation commited to equal rights and diversity. Correos wishes to reflect an unfair reality with these Stamps, a reality impacting to thousands of people.
