"The first half-year was really successful to Lithuania Post. Income from sales has been growing in recent years, and we have been striving for high performance levels; consequently, financial results achieved this year have exceeded the ones recorded last year during the same period. Higher financial results have been determined by 2.3% increase in sales income and 5.3% decrease in operating expenses. The goal set for the second half-year is further growth of income from sales,” CEO of Lithuania Post Lina Minderienė said.

Income from sales generated in January-June 2014 has made LTL 97m or 2.3% more than in the first half-year of 2013. Estimating the results of Jan-Jun 2014, if compared with the same period of 2013, there was a 3.1% increase in income from postal services, 5.3% rise in income from financial intermediation, and income from other services has grown up by 5.3%.
