SDC Programme 2008: Observatory of the Postal Sector Evolution
The European Social Dialogue Committee for the Postal Sector adopted on 22 of June 2007 a Joint Statement on the Postal Sector Evolution. According to its Rules of Procedure, the Committee aims to advise the Commission on initiatives related to social policy and on developments in European policy which could have some social impact on thee postal and postal-related sector.
In the framework of this joint Statement, the Committee wants to build a Social Observatory of the postal sector evolution based on national case studies.
The committee wants to build a social observatory of the postal sector evolution to observe how HR schemes have adapted to the results of the postal sector evolution.
Three seminars will be organized and the final report will be the compilation of all debates and discussions about the case studies.
